August 2011 – Present

  • Producer for Hockey Unfiltered on Sirius/XM’s NHL Home Ice.
  • In the first season of Hockey Unfiltered, my job is to create buzz for the new show and build the audience from the ground up.
  •  I’m currently in charge of booking four guests per week in the twice per week show.
  • Under my direction, Hockey Unfiltered has featured guests from ESPN, TSN, The Sporting News, NBC Sports, NHL Network and various NHL broadcast personalities.
  • I also work directly with the company CEO as the primary media contact for Hockey Primetime.

  • Creating and implementing a social media marketing plan and company brand  for an MiLB scouting service. Responsible for press releases, tweeting, coordinating with scouts, updating website and coordinating with website graphic designers.

August 2010 – March 2012

  • I joined the Florida Jr. Blades in their inaugural season beginning with a blank slate. The opportunity gave me a chance to create the branding of the team and be one of the most social media-friendly teams in the league.
  • I created the team Twitter account and YouTube page, including tweeting press releases and play-by-play updates.
  • I maintain current information on www.floridajrblades.com and produce game notes.
  • I write, do graphic design, multimedia, set up equipment for online streaming of home games on Fast Hockey, as well as any other various tasks the team may need on a day-to-day basis.

WGCU Public Media
May 2010 – March 2012

  • Producer and reporter a sports television show covering the Florida Gulf Coast University Division I athletics program airing on WGCU (PBS), local NBC and ABC affiliates in Southwest Florida.
  • 
I started with the FGCU Sports Report from the beginning, and was the reporter used for the pilot episode in May 2010.
  • I also was given the opportunity by the executive producer to create the format currently used by the rest of the producers for the Player Profile segments.
  • I am responsible for pitching story ideas, scheduling interviews, writing scripts and recording voice overs.
  • I was one of the only producers with one of the two feature segments in nearly every weekly episode from November through May.

  • Sideline reporting on FOX Sports Radio during intermissions and after games
  • Writing game recaps sent out to media, various press releases/transaction reports

  • Served as a runner/production assistant during ESPN’s live broadcast at the City of Palms Classic in Fort Myers, Florida.

  • Served as a student producer and American liason for the England-based broadcast company.
  • Worked the microphone and coordinated with producers during a live broadcast of the BBC World Have Your Say broadcast in Immokalee, Florida.
  • The show was broadcast internationally to over 11 million listeners and covered forced labor in the orange fields of Immokalee.
